Hoping for Holidays

Hola! I promised myself I would start posting more often on this blog. That was months ago, so I gave up on that. I finally accepted the fact that I am completely horrible at blogging and I will forever be posting this blog to myself and only myself. But to make up for all of the lost time: Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy-Merry Colombus Day, Merry Kwanzaa, Happy Christmas, Happy National Cookie Day (that's on December 4th, by the way), and Happy New Years. For media, I have found uno song, one or two movies, a TV show to "die" for, and complete randomness.
Has anyone ever heard of Karmin? Some might say yes, some might say no. Karmin is a couple who do R&B covers on Youtube. Honestly, I don't listen to R&B. I absolutely hate it. You can disagree with me - that's alright. Well, once upon a time, this R&B-covering couple decided to make their own cover of "Look at Me Now" by Chris Brown. This cover got over a million hits and, suddenly, they were famous. Several months later they came out with their own original single called "Crash Your Party". Honestly, the name is kind of cheesy if you think about it, but overall it's a pretty good song.
Apparently the last Apollo mission was Apollo 17. In the movie Apollo 18, it shows a theory of what could have happened during the Apollo 18 mission and why it was never actually listed on the missions. It's almost like Paranormal Activity gone sci-fi and in space. SPOILER ALERT: The rock sample the astronauts discover is actually an alien and attacks one of the men. That man goes crazy and attacks the uncontaminated one while he is trying to escape the moon on a Russian aircraft that was abandoned years ago by a Russian astronaut that got called by the moon rock alien things. It was fairly boring half of the time (like all Blair Witch Project movies), but once it finally got to some creepy alien scenes, it almost made up for the first half of the movie.
Now, as I mentioned earlier, I have to tell you about the show to "die" for - literally. For this show, you have most likely heard that pun a gazillion times, but why not go along with the overuse of it? This infamous show possesses the name of American Horror Story. Honestly, it's my favorite show. All of the characters are messed up in all of their own little ways. A small family move to a different town when the wife finds her husband in the act of cheating on her. This husband is a psychiatrist. They move into the "Murder House," of which locals call it. All previous owners of the house were found dead, none other than murdered by an unknown source. The daughter Violet meets a boy about her age named Tate. Later you find out he's the son of the kleptomaniac-obviously-hiding-something neighbor, and that he's a ghost. He died because he was a psycho murderer when he was living and randomly killed several of the students in his school library. Well anyway, there's also a crazed man who has horrible burn injuries on an entire side of his body, used to be married to the neighbor, and keeps blackmailing the psychiatrist husband because the man killed the woman whom the psychiatrist cheated on his wife with (they both happen to be pregnant). If that isn't enough for you, then you might want to know that I only listed a few characters out of many. ;)
And for the complete randomness: I got a Nintendo 3DS. :D I know, I know. That just makes me a creepy little nerd/geek. Oh well, then. I can't hear you over my 3D Mario jumps. But I hope you had a good Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, whatever. Here is my Holiday present to you: a holidayish quote!

"A holiday is when you celebrate something that's all finished up, that happened a long time ago and now there's nothing left to celebrate but the dead."
-Abraham Polonsky

 Merry Christmas!

Just Being Me

Hi! :D Sorry I'm so inconsistent with the blog. I feel so bad that no one is ever gonna know when there's a new post. >.< But with all the bloggity blog stuff... Hi (again)! Who watches Saturday Night Live? I know I do! I don't get to watch it when it's on, but I get to watch it on Hulu. Did you know they're on their 37th season? I can't believe a show that old lasted this long. But it's SNL, so I'm not that shocked. Anyways... I have some news I wanna share, not that big though. I just want to share it, 'cause I can. ^.^
For the first part of the news, I want to share the new music that I've recently discovered: Without You by David Guetta ft. Usher, and Better With the Lights Off by New Boyz ft. Chris Brown. Without You has that serious electro-pop sound to it, where you can't tell if the singer really is supposed to be autotuned or not, but it's REALLY good. Emphasis on the really (if you didn't notice already). The verses of the song are a kind-of sad-kind-of-fun mix, but the [very short] chorus is incredibly cheery, confusing me of what the singers are trying to make me feel about the song. Overall, though, it's one of the best songs I've heard in a while.
Better With the Lights Off by New Boyz ft. Chris Brown isn't exactly the kindest song I've ever heard lyrics wise. They're kind of offensive to females in general, but I honestly don't care because the singers aren't referring to us individually. I honestly didn't make this blog to complain about the media. This song is very catchy and I really think you all should listen to it, as well as Without You.
In other news, I recently discovered what the Nintendo 3DS does, and I want one. :D I wanted to mention this because I just wanted something to talk about. ^.^ It can take 3D pictures, has an internet browser, AR cards (Augmented Reality), Miis, Netflix, and eShop. My favorite feature about it is that the storage spot for the stylus is on the LEFT. Yes, I'm left handed, If that's what you were thinking.
And for the final news, I'm on Youtube now! Before you think that I'm just going to start doing video blogs, hold on. My friend and I are attempting (and failing) to become [somewhat] comedians on Youtube. We don't have very good videos yet, but we hope to do better later on ^.^ That's pretty much all I wanted to tell you for this post. So here is the quote of the week:

"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself."
-Leo Tolstoy

Are You There?

School has officially started. And it's even more boring than I thought. I know people think it's extremely boring from the start, but I really needed a distraction. Almost all my friends and I have first lunch, and I have more friends, but something seems to be missing. I'm not sure what, though. At least it doesn't bother me too much.
But other than my boring life, Glee, Raising Hope, Modern Family, and The Vampire Diaries are all back for yet another season. Glee was interesting, but lacked songs that the overall viewers would've actually liked listening to. Raising Hope started the season off with guest starring Greyson Chance (of which I freaked out and got completely psyched to watch it after I heard the news), where he played thirteen year old Jimmy, a once musically talented child. Unfortunately, though, he got hit in the head with a golf club and forgot all about the last eight months of him learning the piano and how to sing.
In other words, Modern Family came off to their usual good start with the family taking a trip to Wyoming. Haley brings her idiotically hilarious boyfriend Dylan where he (spoiler alert!) proposes to her causing the family to freak out. When Haley's mom makes her turn him down he leaves for a walk and isn't found back in the morning. When the family goes on a search for him, Haley and Claire soon find him in the woods where he claimed that while he was [unsurprisingly] lost and confused in the forest, he finds a ranch and gets a job there. He then tells Haley that he will be staying in Wyoming and that they weren't meant to be (even though he proposed to her just the night before).
Then for The Vampire Diaries, Klaus and Stefan begin to build a vampire-werewolf hybrid army. But things go awry when the full moon hits. Check it out for yourself on either hulu or the CW website. Also, New Girl, a show starring Zooey Deschanel has a very interesting lead where Jess moves into a new apartment filled with three guys after a bad breakup. You can also check that one out on hulu or on FOX. For new music, Cody Simpson just came out with his new album Coast to Coast. This includes some songs such as Angel:

and Crazy But True:

And lastly, the quote of the day:

"I think they should have a Barbie with a buzz cut."

Soaked

Not much has happened since my last post, but I really wanted to write something out, even if no one reads it. I went to my youth group yesterday and a full-out water fight which consisted of water balloons, those water sponge football things, water guns, a slip n' slide, and two kid wading pools. Since we were at a church we had to get soaked in the clothes we were wearing; I had no clue we were gonna have a water fight.
When I started writing this post, I was trying to think of what to write about media-wise because I had no idea what to talk about in that category. But while I was in this state of writer's block I was listening to Pandora, which was playing Dance Forever by Allstar Weekend. Suddenly, I knew what to talk about. I've been meaning to mention this band for a while now. I want to buy some of their songs on iTunes, but I lack some money from there, and I get a very small allowance, so it will be a while until I can buy a fifteen dollar iTunes gift card. But anyways, what I've noticed about Allstar Weekend is that they got their start from Disney Channel but they quickly got away from the reputation of a little kid Disney Channel band, soon never being mentioned by Disney Channel, but not getting any more teen viewer sponsored companies, such as Hot Topic, popular local radios that have teens as their main listeners, etc. I assume you know what I'm talking about by now.
As for TV shows I haven't discovered any new shows that pop out to me, but I was watching The Glee Project and they did just finish their first season and have found their winner, or should I say winners. The seven-episode role was given to two people, Samuel and Damian, whom both get seven-episode roles. The other two in the final four, Lyndsay and Alex, each get two-episode roles in the season three of Glee.
I'm sorry this post is short, but here is the quote of the day:

"All right everyone, line up alphabetically according to your height."

Distractions

Sorry I have not posted in forever, it just hasn't come into mind to post on here for quite a while, especially since it's Summer. I've gotta do as much as I can before it's over! Has anyone heard of Julian Smith? The internet sensation? Well, if you haven't, you are missing out on a lot! It is hilarious. Like most internet sensations, they have alter egos; most of the time several. My favorite one of Julian's is Jeffrey, the supposed cousin of Julian Smith. Jeffrey acts as if he has "mental retardation" or something in that sense, but it ends up that this was caused by him eating a jellyfish. Julian's other alter ego is Roger, a mustached father where he scares his children to make them respect him. Nonetheless, he does it in a hilarious manner.
Also, some new shows I have been watching are ones like Switched at Birth, The Nine Lives of Chloe King, The Glee Project, etc. First of all, Switched at Birth is a "dramady" about two daughters who were accidentally switched at birth, After Bay, one of the daughters gets tested to see if she is genetically related to her parents,. When she learns that she is not, the family goes off to find the other daughter. Once they get to meeting the other daughter, Daphne, they learn that she is deaf and lives with her single mother where the father left coincidentally not long after three-year-old Daphne goes deaf. If you want to find anything else out, you will have to watch the episodes on another website, like Hulu.
In other words, The Nine Lives of Chloe King is about a sixteen year old girl who discovers she is part Mi, which is an ancient human-cat like being. Not only is she that, she is the legendary "Uniter" which is supposed to unite all the different types of beings or whatever. As the Uniter she gets nine lives, just like a cat. While discovering all of this, she meets two other Mi, Alek and Jasmine, her Protectors. Not far into the show, the viewers learn that Alek has feelings for Chloe, who is in a battle of destiny, fate, and love with the love of her life, Bryan (spelling?). The problem is that he's a human, though. Mi cannot date humans. If a Mi kisses a human, the human dies. See what I mean? To find out everything else you have to watch the show at ABC on Tuesday nights or on Hulu or something.
And last and maybe least (depending on your opinion) is The Glee Project. It is another singing reality show where several people compete for a seven episode role on Glee. It's finally gotten to the point where there are only four or so people left. For all those people who do actually watch this I'm rooting for Samuel. He would honestly fit best into the Glee cast and keep the episodes interesting. I usually watch this OnDemand so I don't know when this is actually on or what channel, so if you have Comcast you can watch yours OnDemand or you can watch this on Hulu. Or maybe you can just find when it's on and figure that out.
Right now the music that's mainly on my mind is Unfriend You by Greyson Chance; the band All Time Low; and You Make Me Feel by Cobra Starship. For all of you that don't know, Greyson Chance was discovered on Youtube for his cover of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi. His most famous song, though, is Waiting Outside the Lines. All Time Low is a popular band that has many songs such as Seventeen Forever, Damned if I Do Ya, Toxic Valentine, and Dear Maria. And for Cobra Starship, it's becoming a popular band but I've only heard You Make Me Feel, which is pretty popular in my area right now. Sorry these descriptions are pretty short, but I'm having writers block.... But anyways, here is the quote of the day:

"Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company."
- Mark Twain

Crazy? Nah

Hi!!!!! Sorry I haven't been posting for a loooong time now. It's just that I kind of went lazy (bleh) and was in Maui for a week. That would be the third time I've gone there now, and it's changed a lot. Especially with tons and tons of hot guys. There was this one time at the mall before the trip where I was with my friend K and a couple of really, really, really hot guys asked her out; and we thought we were lucky enough to see more than three hot dudes in less than an hour. Wow. But compared to Maui, the mall barely had any good-looking guys, which is seriously impressive.
But other than that, I think I'm starting to get one of those fan colds, where you get completely addicted to a [hot] music artist and it feels like you can't escape it. Don't worry. It's not Justin Bieber. And it's not Greyson Chance, either. I absolutely love listening to Greyson Chance's "Waiting Outside the Lines", and any other songs he has. He has an awesome voice. But anyways (I seem to get distracted easily on here, don't I?), I'm getting addicted to Cody Simpson's music. Yep, does anybody remember that other post where I showed a video of his newest song "On My Mind". Yeah, him. I don't know. It's something about his eyes. You can see his personality in them. That's the best part. The sincerity in his personality shows. Oh, and his funny, carefree side. For example, he's nice to all his adoring fans, but if rainbow unicorns started raining awesomeness he would probably realistically duck for cover 'cause of the sharp horns, but he would probably name one of them something hilarious, like Waffles or something. I don't know. P.S. Ponies and Unicorns are awesome. And you would think an 8th grader wouldn't be into unicorns. Check out my school. It's as if everyone is always prepared for a unicorn explosion rant.
And so you can have another taste of this Cody Simpson (okay, maybe not taste. That would be creepy), here is another video of one of his songs:

That is just one of his songs from his album 4 U - EP. I'm happy he became a singer and did what he wants to and I hope that he'll come out with many more songs in the future. I already know they will do well. I also hope he will stay true to his fans and more importantly, himself, because he shouldn't have to become a young star that millions dislike because of him being arrogant. Fortunately, I can't see that happening to Cody. And please remember that even though I can spell things right and put them in a sentence correctly doesn't mean that I'm a 30-year-old journalist who forgot how to have a life. I do have a life. I AM AN EIGHTH GRADER IN MIDDLE SCHOOL. Hehehe. I bet you didn't see that one coming, didn't you? And I bet you didn't expect this either: MEXICAN SOMBREROS ARE GONNA BE USED AS SPACESHIPS FOR THE ANCIENT ONES. hehehehehe. EXPLOSION!!!!! I wish I could have shouted that in a video with fake flames in the background. It would've been way cooler. Buuuuut, here is the quote of the day (!):

"A pun is the lowest form of humor, unless you thought of it yourself."
- Doug Larson

Incessant

Hello and Happy Father's Day everyone! It's been a busy but interesting first two days of Summer vacation. I have gotten four sunburns but most of them are gone. I finally got my Zionic band, a modern, water proof watch that compliments anything you were (if that what you look for in your jewelry). This is what they look like:

Other than that, I went to a campsite near the coast for a day because it was one of my friend's birthday parties and that is where I got my ever so harmful sunburn. Oh, how I miss the coast. My favorite place to be is near the ocean, so I absolutely love the beach. My favorite nature noise is the waves crashing onto the shore. You know - those mini ones? Yeah, those.
Now I know this is completely random and off topic from the rest of the earlier part of the post, but who believes in de ja vu and precognitive dreams (dreams that show what happens in reality before it actually happens)? To be honest, I do. Especially the precognitive dreams one. I get those all the time. It was horrible in fifth grade, though. I tried telling my friends and they thought I was lying to get attention. Of course I'm not friends with them anymore because it was only fifth grade and friendships around that time usually don't last long (and no, they did not ditch me, I left them... reasonably).
This is probably going to be one of the most random posts ever because I keep jumping subjects, but right now the newest hot news I have for all of you from the media is MTV's Teen Wolf. For all of you who have seen it, isn't Tyler Posey hoooottt?!?!?!?! I mean seriously - hot. I hope that you guys don't mind that I keep changing the subjects, maybe you'll even soon find it amusing, or that cows will soon fly, or frogs can play musical instruments now, or... Just kidding. But I have to admit, completely losing my mind, and actually typing it into a blog seems pointless yet funny. But I'll let you all be on your way after the quote of the day:

"Everything is funny as long as it is happening to somebody else."
-Will Rogers

 Have a good Father's Day!

Climax

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. It's been a pretty busy week. Finally got my yearbook on Thursday and I completely missed out on lunch. Sadly that was the only lucky thing that happened that day. After school, Natli, K, and I went to ESTC and hung out there. When Natli left for the hot tub she didn't realize she had a lot of soap on her hands. And apparently when she got in, boom! bubbles everywhere! When K and I got there, we half freaked out and half went, "Wow!" like little kids, because, hey - it's full of bubbles and at times we are immature enough for that, just like everyone else at our school. While we were trying to get the bubbles out there were about six 10-year-olds watching, and we we were expecting them to come running in but they ended up tattling us out saying it was us.
We almost got kicked out of the place for the rest of the day, but when we talked to the manager everything got straightened out. Don't some things just work out wonderfully at times? Such as today, our class was dissecting frogs and I couldn't bring myself to cutting the frog up. Fortunately, the teacher did it for us because he needed a frog to show everyone how to dissect theirs'. My hands smelled horrible after that, even though I used gloves. But my issues aren't important (and no, I'm not saying that to get attention. That would be stupid) and I'm wondering if anybody has seen The Voice before. Anyone? Well, if you haven't, then it's kind of like American Idol, but the auditions are blind, meaning that the judges' chairs are turned away from the auditioning artist. When the judge presses their button, then their chair is turned around and at the end of the song the artist chooses the judge they want to be coached by, but they can only choose out of the ones that turn their chair around. The judges are Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Cee Lo Green. It's a fair show and I hope that it will stick around. And in other words, here's the quote of the day:

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
-Dr. Seuss

Help Me Fly

Things are getting way better compared to a few weeks ago. I'm not bothered as much by K and AS dating, Lex is happy with King, my projects are doing great, it's K's birthday, K and I got an ESTC membership, and I'm listening to an amazing song. If anybody's heard of Cody Simpson, then you know who I'm listening to right now. So far there's only one song that I seriously get stuck in my head. It's called On My Mind. Cody Simpson is only 14 and now has a deeper voice than Justin Bieber, who is supposedly 17. Cody Simpson's songs are usually pretty "young" sounding, but you can tell - inbetween has last song and this one, his voice matured extremely. This song makes me feel good (not in a perverted or cheesy way, you haters ;P). It also makes me happy because it proves my point that Justin Bieber will never hit puberty. Cody Simpson is a whole three years younger than Bieber and sounds better. And guess who's more famous? Yeah, not cool, I know.
If anybody has gotten this far into the post, then I guess you've gotten pretty curious of what this song sounds like. It doesn't have an official video yet, but I'll show you a really cool lyric one:

I hope you liked the song like I did. By the way, I'm listening to it right now for the bajillionth time. Is that a word? Bajillionth... bajillionth... bajillionth... oh well, but la di da. I love this song! Dang, now I'm going to be humming it at my voice lessons, and I'm not supposed to be practicing this song! I'm supposed to practice Goodbye by Kristinia DeBarge, Love Song by Sara Bareilles, and Rolling in the Deep by Adele. But anyways, here is the quote of the day:

"Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."

One Way Ticket

So far things have been going pretty well. The whole K and AS thing has almost completely gone flat. Now the big deal is Cass. She always has been. If you really want to know Cass, think of those girls from Mean Girls. What she is like is her mom was a drug addict, her brother is a drug addict and an alcoholic, and she lives with her grandma. But that's no excuse to be the way she is today. She hates me just because I'm random. This may sound weird, but in a way she's like a racist - well, when it comes to peoples' social popularity status. Yesterday I was at Lex's birthday party with K, King (Lex's boyfriend), LT (Lex's sister), and Cass. Sara was also there, who used to be my friend in fifth grade, but she isn't now. To be honest I don't want to be anywhere near her because she's very immature and she thinks she's like the "Popular People", but they hate her - they don't even bother pretending to like her so I don't know what goes on in her mind. Lex doesn't really like her, but her aunt is good friends with Sara's mom. At the party Sara started bawling her eyes out, and it ends up that Cass told her that she was fat and ugly straight to her face. I know I don't like Sara and find her extremely naive, but she didn't deserve that. And Cass never even looked a tad guilty about it.
Also at Lex's party we went to Skate World and about half an hour after we got there, Cass left with her 15 year-old-or-so boyfriend Ces saying she wouldn't get caught and would be back before 10:00. But what she didn't know was that Lex's aunt would be there before that time. Her aunt was pissed. It ended with Cass getting sent home early and never seeing Ces again. The only thing I regret that night was how getting Cass in trouble slightly upset Lex, but she got over it :). Cass is the worst person I ever met. I bet she's related to Osama Bin Laden... with the mix of a llama-duck. I wonder that because Cass is the cruelest, most stuck up, I-think-I'm-better-than-you type of person I've ever met. I honestly don't know what people see in her. But done with the complaining - this weekend has been amazing! On Friday, I got picked from school by a limo, went to a dollar store in it with all my friends, drank sparkling cider, and danced at K's birthday party. Later that day K, Natli, P, and I found a tree at the park that split in half. One side was still safely standing and the other fell into the park. It was very fun to climb.
And on Saturday, K and I went to Lex's birthday party and swam, went roller skating, ate an awesome cake, and drew on LT's face while she was sleeping. And with all of that said, here is the quote of the day:

"Handmade presents are scary because they reveal that you have too much free time."
- Doug Coupland

Forgiven

It's official. I've now been driven to do quote of the day. There will be only one quote a day most likely in my posts since I don't do more than one a day. Also official: I have forgiven K. She even gave me a stuffed taco key chain that I named 'Senor Velloso'. It's extremely adorable. I feel bad for K now since her boyfriend (yeah, the guy I once had an eenie meenie super tiny crush on) AS (his initials) was ignoring her just because while he was waiting for about five seconds for her when walking to lunch and she walked into the bathroom instead because I had to go to the bathroom and she went in to look in the mirror and wait. And at our school, if you're a girl and you just walk into the bathroom and start looking into the mirror it's not exactly considered vain. But when it comes to doing makeup and straightening your hair in there it crosses the line: it shows that vain and self-absorbed is written all over them.
And now what you've all been waiting for is the quote of the day:

"Quitting doesn't always mean you're weak enough to give up, but that you're strong enough to let go."
-Who knows

To Kill Two Birds with One Stone

Hot Italian guy? No, I wasn't there. This weekend has been a pretty long one (literally, because it's a four day weekend) and relaxing from drama is just making it become worse. Gossip, boy drama, friend issues, annoying families, puberty; we're all here for it, especially girls. Recently I lost one of my best friends due to a guy. It's my fault we haven't been talking, I've been ignoring her; but it's her fault that she can't keep a friend like me by her side. Especially when your friend dates the guy you like. Typical movie drama. You may have seen my whole rant about this before and I'm sorry about that, I was extremely angry at the moment. I still am, but just not as much.
Sadly most of my four day weekend consisted of sitting on the couch watching Scrubs on Netflix, reading, and completely embarrassing myself at the mall by going with my parents. I usually don't mind being around them, but they're just kind of... embarrassing. I know that's the typical thing for an American teenage girl to say, but it's true. It's not like the scenario where I say they're lame and embarrassing and most people think they're actually pretty cool (for parents). I mean, yeah, my Mom's pretty carefree and doesn't get angry too easily, but they are way too overprotective. I've never been on a camping trip without my parents (other than my Girl Scout camp) and so far they still won't let me.
I've been reading lately, and the book I'm reading is called Kiss & Blog by Alyson Noel. It's about a girl named Winter that's ditched by her best friend Sloane, who leaves her for popularity. When Winter gains a new friend, Rey, she learns he has a blog and gets this amazing and brilliant way for revenge: creating an anonymous blog to tell Sloane's little dirty secrets. Surprisingly this book is pretty similar to my life in a way. I lost a friend because of how she has been too mean to be near, I'm becoming friends I thought I'd potentially never become friends with, and I'm talking it all out in a (mostly) anonymous blog. Oh, great minds think alike, huh? ;) My nicknames are less creative, but hey - It's easier for people to remember: K, A, Lex, E, Natli, so on. Winter's nickname for Sloane is Princess Pink, Sloane's friends are called her Pastel Posse, and Cash (Winter's longtime crush and Sloane's recent boyfriend) Captain World. She even calls herself Eleanor Rigby. I just call myself H. But soon I'll be reading Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin and The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson. If you've read and/or you're reading this comment below and tell me your opinion on them.

Are You Serious?

I have spent a good amount of my life dealing with friends moving away, fighting, and such - just like anyone else. I know I'm not that old, but somehow I've lived long enough to survive many betrayals from my friends. The next is always worse than the one before, making it look petty and childish. There is someone I am friends with now (we have known each other since we were three), but we had a lot of drama in early elementary school. When she moved away, I had to find many more friends and not be alone. When I thought everything bad was over, my new friends made my days worse. Overall, I'm a pretty happy person, but what they did hurt. I'm pretty sensitive, so it was harder for me than others. The person my friends & i didn't like at the time is (or was) my friend. I now don't like those people at all because they are fake and mean and I am now hanging out with the girl we didn't like. We became friends after realizing a big similarity we both had: we disliked the same people for the same reasons.
Our friendship is pretty flimsy, it has been from the start, and I knew that - but she didn't. But this thing is the most difficult to deal with: she is now dating the guy that I like. I never admitted to liking him, but she seemed to know before I even did. She said that she would never date him and that him and I were practically going out (most people thought we were, literally). The guy I like and I have an interesting history. We started out becoming friends with each other about halfway through the year, and he admitted to having a crush on me. He's the type of guy that likes every female he sees, though. We recently got into a fight, and my friend told me to just ignore him. But I couldn't, because she kept hanging around him. He used to be extra nice to me, but he's been meaner and meaner to me and nicer to my friend.
Then at the dance, he kept hugging her. Then at the end, the very last song, it went to a slow song and they started dancing. She apparently changed her mind about him in the middle of the dance and went off with him. I was really mad at her after the dance, and she could tell (which is what I was really hoping for). I don't like him anymore, in fact, I couldn't really feel much of anything when the dance ended - I just knew I should be angry. But my friend didn't know why I was mad. It was so obvious of why i was mad at her it hurt. What she always does is treat me like crap and then realize how mad I get and she endlessly apologizes. I hope other people don't get as much bad luck with friendships as I do. My better friends say I'm a great person and friend, so why do I feel as if I get the worst friends?

Good Days, Bad Days

Random fact: spaghetti in Spanish is "espaguetis". I hope you like this random fact! But anyways, some days are "ehh..." and others are "woo!yeah!", and sometimes you are completely inbetween. That's what my day was like, an "ehh... yeah..." type of thing. I'm new to this whole blogging thing, so if this post seems like an odd one out, you don't have to point it out. I just like writing my stuff in a sort of dialogue like context. Even though my day didn't go so great, I hope everyone elses' did!

Shutter Shades

Who knows what shutter shades are? Cuz I LOVE them. But it's hard to skate with them on. Last weekend I went to Skate World with my friends K and Lex (These are gonna be my blog nicknames for them, so their full names won't be said). We all bought glow-in-the-dark shutter shades. We were obviously wondering where that hot dude got his shades... but oh well! They're awesome! See ya peeps!
