Soaked

Not much has happened since my last post, but I really wanted to write something out, even if no one reads it. I went to my youth group yesterday and a full-out water fight which consisted of water balloons, those water sponge football things, water guns, a slip n' slide, and two kid wading pools. Since we were at a church we had to get soaked in the clothes we were wearing; I had no clue we were gonna have a water fight.
When I started writing this post, I was trying to think of what to write about media-wise because I had no idea what to talk about in that category. But while I was in this state of writer's block I was listening to Pandora, which was playing Dance Forever by Allstar Weekend. Suddenly, I knew what to talk about. I've been meaning to mention this band for a while now. I want to buy some of their songs on iTunes, but I lack some money from there, and I get a very small allowance, so it will be a while until I can buy a fifteen dollar iTunes gift card. But anyways, what I've noticed about Allstar Weekend is that they got their start from Disney Channel but they quickly got away from the reputation of a little kid Disney Channel band, soon never being mentioned by Disney Channel, but not getting any more teen viewer sponsored companies, such as Hot Topic, popular local radios that have teens as their main listeners, etc. I assume you know what I'm talking about by now.
As for TV shows I haven't discovered any new shows that pop out to me, but I was watching The Glee Project and they did just finish their first season and have found their winner, or should I say winners. The seven-episode role was given to two people, Samuel and Damian, whom both get seven-episode roles. The other two in the final four, Lyndsay and Alex, each get two-episode roles in the season three of Glee.
I'm sorry this post is short, but here is the quote of the day:

Distractions

Sorry I have not posted in forever, it just hasn't come into mind to post on here for quite a while, especially since it's Summer. I've gotta do as much as I can before it's over! Has anyone heard of Julian Smith? The internet sensation? Well, if you haven't, you are missing out on a lot! It is hilarious. Like most internet sensations, they have alter egos; most of the time several. My favorite one of Julian's is Jeffrey, the supposed cousin of Julian Smith. Jeffrey acts as if he has "mental retardation" or something in that sense, but it ends up that this was caused by him eating a jellyfish. Julian's other alter ego is Roger, a mustached father where he scares his children to make them respect him. Nonetheless, he does it in a hilarious manner.
Also, some new shows I have been watching are ones like Switched at Birth, The Nine Lives of Chloe King, The Glee Project, etc. First of all, Switched at Birth is a "dramady" about two daughters who were accidentally switched at birth, After Bay, one of the daughters gets tested to see if she is genetically related to her parents,. When she learns that she is not, the family goes off to find the other daughter. Once they get to meeting the other daughter, Daphne, they learn that she is deaf and lives with her single mother where the father left coincidentally not long after three-year-old Daphne goes deaf. If you want to find anything else out, you will have to watch the episodes on another website, like Hulu.
In other words, The Nine Lives of Chloe King is about a sixteen year old girl who discovers she is part Mi, which is an ancient human-cat like being. Not only is she that, she is the legendary "Uniter" which is supposed to unite all the different types of beings or whatever. As the Uniter she gets nine lives, just like a cat. While discovering all of this, she meets two other Mi, Alek and Jasmine, her Protectors. Not far into the show, the viewers learn that Alek has feelings for Chloe, who is in a battle of destiny, fate, and love with the love of her life, Bryan (spelling?). The problem is that he's a human, though. Mi cannot date humans. If a Mi kisses a human, the human dies. See what I mean? To find out everything else you have to watch the show at ABC on Tuesday nights or on Hulu or something.
And last and maybe least (depending on your opinion) is The Glee Project. It is another singing reality show where several people compete for a seven episode role on Glee. It's finally gotten to the point where there are only four or so people left. For all those people who do actually watch this I'm rooting for Samuel. He would honestly fit best into the Glee cast and keep the episodes interesting. I usually watch this OnDemand so I don't know when this is actually on or what channel, so if you have Comcast you can watch yours OnDemand or you can watch this on Hulu. Or maybe you can just find when it's on and figure that out.
Right now the music that's mainly on my mind is Unfriend You by Greyson Chance; the band All Time Low; and You Make Me Feel by Cobra Starship. For all of you that don't know, Greyson Chance was discovered on Youtube for his cover of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi. His most famous song, though, is Waiting Outside the Lines. All Time Low is a popular band that has many songs such as Seventeen Forever, Damned if I Do Ya, Toxic Valentine, and Dear Maria. And for Cobra Starship, it's becoming a popular band but I've only heard You Make Me Feel, which is pretty popular in my area right now. Sorry these descriptions are pretty short, but I'm having writers block.... But anyways, here is the quote of the day:
